Fūrin is a new matcha brand with a focus on intentional curation: Rather than defining quality by origin alone, each blend is carefully crafted to achieve a distinctive and balanced flavour profile. We created the Brand Identity and Packaging Design for Fūrin Matcha as a visual representation of a calm summer breeze. Focusing on the sensorial qualities carried by the visual and graphic to deliver a feeling before a concept. The logo is moved by that gentle breeze creating long and soft lines, the treatment is blurry and full of life, and finally the typography is also moved by the wind creating compositions that are both structured and breezy. The inspiration behind this brand is the Fūrin, a small Japanese wind chime, and from a feeling described by the founder Bernice Tan Jia Qi: “Every time I hear its gentle sound and see the paper dancing in the breeze, everything stops for me. That cooling, relaxing sensation that washes over you, it's a moment of pause in the chaos.”

In addition to the main identity and packaging, we created graphic materials to create a special experience for the delivery. Box, seals and postcard. And created a wide range of assets used for a set of steel sifter beads in a precious branded tin box.
