- Title Sequence and series logo for Far East LA, a docuseries narrating stories of intersecting cultures between the Los Angeles neighbourhoods of Little Tokyo and Boyle Heights. Mixing influences of Chicano and Japanese-American culture and creating unique views where personal identity blurs the boundaries. Fully human-made (!) frame by frame animation that gave us the opportunity to have fun with colors, crafted compositions, quick rhythm and transitions. Four unique animated sequences, a different one for each episode, focusing on the main characters, environments and themes of every episode’s story. [For now we shared the intro animation of the first episode featuring MoNa a.k.a Sad Girl and Maceo Hernandez of East LA Taiko, which already premiered in festivals in Los Angeles and San Francisco]
